Managing Chronic Illnesses while living life
Hello Readers-
Today I am Discussing how I manage my several chronic illnesses while still living my life, attending school, and working. I do many things to manage my chronic illnesses.
I take a stress dose of my Addison’s meds when I feel sick
I use a cane when I am having pain or am fatigued
I try my best to not overexert myself
I rest when I know I have something to do later like work
I attend my doctor’s appointments with another person
I sit when seating is available
I take my blood sugar when I feel low
I wear a fitbit to track my heart rate
I carry 3 doses of all my medications with me at all times
The biggest thing that I do to feel like I am living is I try my best to do everything I can. I apply for LPN school, I go out to eat with my family, I go to concerts and movies, I attend events, I go on vacation and do the activities my family planned and I try my best to be positive about living my life even if it has a few bumps along the way. My life is still a life even if I have a flare after doing something fun with my friends or family. I will never regret spending time with the people I care about even if it causes pain on my part.
