LPN School

Hello Readers -

I have recently started my first step in reaching my goal of being a pediatric RN. I started in LPN school. LPN stands for Licensed Practical Nurse, LPNs can do most things that Registered Nurses can like giving medications, wound care, and placing IVs. Starting LPN school is a key step for me to reach my nursing goals. LPNs can work in Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and Doctors’ offices. The Program, I am attending is about 18 months which is pretty standard for a part-time LPN program. Being an LPN builds the foundation that I want for my healthcare career. Currently, I am taking prerequisites for the nursing courses. I am so excited that I finally am starting my nursing journey.
