So I read City of Glass by Cassandra Clare recently. This is the third book in the Mortal Instruments series. In City of Glass, Clary goes to the Shadowhunter capital, called Idris to find a warlock to help her mother. She ventures into a new and dangerous setting. The Characters have an emotional depth that resonates with the reader. The world-building in this book was amazing. This book expands on the shadowhunter world, with a new setting, the history, and the politics of Idris. The writing style in this book keeps the reader entertained from the first page to the last. The pacing is good, combining action-packed chapters with moments of revelation. City of Glass is an amazing continuation of this story. I can’t wait to read the next book in this story.
